Passing Thoughts of 2012

Introduction: Typically, at the end of the year I kinda just go through every movie I either didn't have the time to review, had no interest to review, didn't mention in my "best of" and "worst of" lists, or was too afraid to review for fear of being struck down by the Jewish God, Adonai. He's a bit biased when it comes to movies, but that's a story for another time that will never come up. Shall we?

My Top 9 Favorite Films of 2012

Introduction: If you've read my worst of list then you realize that I loved this year in movies. I think it was infinitely better than last year and I'm so happy to have the privilege of reviewing it. I'd like to be able to talk about every movie this year that I thoroughly enjoyed but I wanted just nine since nine is my favorite number (plus 10 is cliched). Because of this, I found trouble picking the best of the best and found that in order to still have variety I would do something different. I will talk about the best movies of their respective genres ranking each top dog from least to greatest. Ready to read? Of course not, because reading is stupid...

My Top 9 Worst Movies of 2012

Introduction: To be completely honest, I didn't see that many bad movies this year. In fact, I loved this year in film. I think that this is mainly because of the films I was exposed to this year (ie I didn't see any f*cking Adam Sandler or Eddie Murphy sh*t). That doesn't mean I didn't see any Gawd awful movies this year. Horrible movies will always exist so long as good ones do. Anyways, this year I decided to go through the worst movies in their respective genres in order from least to most. That way I have some variety in my list. Shall we start?

4 Reasons I'm Not Seeing the Wizard of Oz Prequel

Introduction: A good sequel should respect the rules of the previous movie. This doesn't mean that it can't be good. Terminator 2 didn't respect the rules of the first Terminator yet not only was it awesome but actually better than the original. A good prequel should to do this too. Here are some reasons I don't want to see the new Wizard of Oz prequel not as a movie (you know, since I haven't seen it yet), but as a prequel to one of my favorite films of all time.

3 Reasons to See the New Twilight Movie

Introduction: The Twilight series is known as the greatest love story ever made between two lifeless husks trying to look at each other without having an aneurism. One of those husks is a vampire named Eduardo who is preying on wannabe jail bait named Bella who has a werewolf bff named Care Bear of Friendship. Twilight Part 5 Break Dawn Part 2 is the climax of this series. That sentence is the first and last time the word climax will be placed next to Twilight. Here are some reasons why you should see it!
